A Titanic near-miss: Beauceron CEO talks with the CBC about global cyber(in)security

The fallout from WannaCry continues to be felt worldwide and in Canada more organizations including hospitals and universities have had to deal with minor outbreaks of the ransomware worm.

Beauceron CEO David Shipley spoke with CBC morning shows in Fredericton, Moncton and Saint John this week about the significance of the incident and why at its core it's about people, process and culture as well as technology.

Shipley is urging individuals to talk personal responsibility to become more cyber aware and to do basic cyber hygiene such as patching devices and urging the public to hold organizations and governments more accountable for securing critical infrastructure and personal information.
