New Apple iOS 11 poses new challenges for police

Beauceron CEO David Shipley says that security features designed to improve security and privacy will cause headaches for one group in particular: police

iOS 11 includes features designed to rapidly disable biometric unlocks such as fingerprint identification-based unlocking (known in iOS as TouchID) or facial recognition (the newly announced FacedID).

Shipley spoke with Toronto640's Tasha Tasha Kheiriddin about the new Apple mobile operating system and about security and privacy with microchips being embedded employees and travellers.
