Business Development Representative (BDR)
Beauceron is a fast-growing information security company located in the heart of downtown Fredericton, New Brunswick. Beauceron’s Software as a Service (SaaS) technology is designed to make it faster, easier and less complex for organizations of all kinds and sizes to get a sense for their cyber risk and to help them take actions to reduce it.
Beauceron believes that to truly tackle cyber risk organizations must empower employees to make better security decisions by providing them with the right information at the right time. Organizations must stop treating security as an IT centric problem and instead take a human-centric approach. Beauceron helps organizations do this by taking measure of the four major dimensions of cyber risk – People, Process, Culture, and Technology.
The “pack”, as we refer to our team, at Beauceron is passionate about security and enabling security champions. With a growing sales operation we are looking for passionate, dynamic individuals to join our team.
Beauceron is seeking two Business Development Representatives (BDR) to join our growing sales team. The role of the BDR is to support the growth of our business by generating new, qualified business opportunities primarily through outbound email campaigns and cold calling as well as qualifying inbound lead opportunities.
The successful applicants will work closely with Beauceron’s Account Executives to identify and capitalize on areas of opportunity and manage the early stages of new deals that fuel pipeline growth.
Develop new business and sales opportunities and introduce Beauceron through outbound cold calls and emails, and inbound lead follow-up with major emphasis on outbound calls and appointment setting for the sales team.
Identify and research target accounts and key decision makers.
Qualify sales opportunities by identifying prospect pain points and needs, learning about budget, decision makers, and timelines.
Nurture and follow up on opportunities using a consultative sales approach.
Manage the initial appointment process for qualified leads including scheduling appointments for the Account Executives.
Capture all sales activities in CRM including emails, conversations, appointments, and other communications.
Other activities as required including attending tradeshows and events, perform product demonstrations and closing small to medium business deals.
Experience in Information Security, software sales, or technology is an asset
Goal oriented and highly motivated
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Passionate about solving problems
Ability to handle objections and reach decision makers
Experience with HubSpot CRM, Salesforce, or similar is preferred
Completion of Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma is preferred
For one of the two positions being bilingual in French and English is an asset.
