Why We Do What We Do
The origin of the word cyber comes from the Greek word, kubernetes. In English, kuberentes translates into the helmsman or steersman of a boat. It illustrates the three fundamental elements of cyber: people, technology and control.

What’s in a name?
The Beauceron Platform was named after a sheep dog from northern France to help reinforce that our core mission is to protect the target of more than 90% of all cyber attacks - people - by turning them from targets into the most effective line of defense, from sheep to sheep dogs.
